Group Meeting on:

Informal Software Assessment

Date and hour Sunday 11.5.2003 14:15
Location Dan Acadia Hotel, Herzliya
Lecturer
Judy Bamberger
Process Solutions, Australia

About the lecture

The speaker will describe one informal assessment method to be used in preparation for a formal assessment, and will discuss the benefits and limitations of any informal assessment method. The method and tool described support accurate, rapid characterization of how well the organization satisfies the practices and goals of a process model such as CMM/CMMI. Sample results and one detailed success story will be presented in support of the method. The example informal assessment method description will provide attendees with enough information to adapt this technique and begin using it themselves in their respective organizations.
