ILTAM - The
Israeli Users' Association of Advanced Technologies in Electronics - is
a non-profit organization which began its activities by the year of
1993.
The association
was established by the industry, for the industry and it is owned by
its members (the Israeli high tech industry).
ILTAM activity's express in
the distribution and in the assimilation of new processes of
methodological and new methods, in the development of software
including subjects of system architectures, software and processes of
integration and evaluation.
ILTAM operates in framework
of the MAGNET program, within the Office of The Chief Scientist at the
Industry Ministry and Trade Israeli Office.
ILTAM's main goal is to
support and encourage information participation between the members,
this by means of different work groups, whose members come from the
same discipline, but from different companies. The members who meet
together exchange information, discuss common problems and ideas, and
share knowledge between the participants. In these open discussions,
our association actually forms a framework for brainstorming which
enriches the knowledge of the participants.
Since its establishment
ILTAM has steadily increase companies' members and today there are more
than 100 electronics companies from the high tech industry in Israel in
Israel that take part in various activities.
ILTAM
collaborator with international unions and between them INCOSE - for
systems engineering, IEEE – for computers companies and for software
engineering, SMTA – for hardware development and engineering process.
