At the upcoming SwSTE 2012 conference, one can learn from industry leaders about the various aspects that “the way to the cloud” affects the software industry. SwSTE’s rich program covers a large list of the issues that a move to the cloud entails, including: cyber-security, Public clouds, the Evolution of enterprise services, Emerging technologies such as Big Data, Massive-scale computing, and new paradigms for design-to-deployment lifecycles with continuous deployment. Industrial and academic leaders will present their visions of two sides of the move to the cloud: (1) software-driven data centers and (2) as a result of the proliferation of cloud-connected client devices, Human–Computer Interaction. These visions will be presented in parallel with sessions of doctoral symposium and refereed international research papers ,including: Business & Process, SW Modeling, Requirements, Cost & Safety, Middleware and the Web.
