Gal
Shachor
Gal Shachor is a senior technical staff
member at the IBM Haifa Research Lab, where he serves as the architect
of the Software and Services group. Over the past couple of years Gal’s
main research focus has been software as a service (SaaS) and related
technologies including SOA, web services, REST, AJAX, hosted tools,
application customizeability and large scale web platforms. Prior to
his SaaS activities, Gal Shachor worked on web-related programming
models and runtimes such as WebSphere Application Server, SCA and
custom tags. He also worked on telecom application servers and medical
information systems. Gal holds a BSc (summa cum laude) and MSc in
electrical engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of
Technology.
