Plenary Panel Discussion
The Impact of the Internet on Society
Tuesday Oct. 30, 2007
The ever-growing use of the
Internet is changing our life in ways hardly imaginable just ten years
ago. This has triggered many studies that attempt to investigate the
social, cultural, legal, political and economic impact of the Internet
on our society. We believe that Software Professionals should be aware
of these issues, and should take them into consideration as much as
possible in their development work. The participants of the panel will
present various issues related to the impact of the Internet on our
society, and will discuss them and respond to questions from the
audience.
