Two representatives of leading companies from the medical industry will present various interesting topics. Gil Amisar from GE Healthcare Israel will talk about how to predict system reliability matching the customer experience: Is there a way to predict system failures and perform preventive maintenance to make a "self-healing" system?
Eran Rubens from Philips Medical will talk about Software in Hybrid Medical Systems – From Products to Platforms. An interdisciplinary panel discussion on Open Source in certifiable systems will close /complete the session.



Session 4.2, afternoon: TV 2.0
Moderator: Yossi Tsuria
During the last 2 years, the TV world became available to the PC. User-generated content is flooding the Internet. Millions are enjoying video by cell phone. Soon TVs, Set Top Boxes (STBs) and digital video recorders will also be connected to the Internet.  We will deal with these issues and their implications. Prof. Yossi Matias, CTO of Google IL, will talk about the challenges of organizing information.  Asher Sterkin from NDS will talk about the pressures of this revolution on traditional software made obsolete by dual-core Pentium PCs, iPods,  PMPs, or Play Stations empowered by broadband and meta-data delivery. Didi Chanoch, Technology Editor at Walla, will describe Walla plans for User-Generated Content.
