During the last 2 years, the TV world became available to
the PC. User-generated content is flooding the Internet. Millions
are
enjoying video by cell phone. Soon TVs, Set Top Boxes (STBs) and
digital video recorders will also be connected to the
Internet. We
will deal with these issues and their implications. Prof.
Yossi Matias,
CTO of Google IL, will talk about the challenges of organizing
information. Asher Sterkin from NDS will talk about the
pressures of
this revolution on traditional software made obsolete by dual-core
Pentium PCs, iPods, PMPs, or Play Stations empowered by broadband
and meta-data delivery. Didi Chanoch, Technology Editor at Walla,
will
describe Walla plans for User-Generated Content.
